Cannot change the table design due to no permissions.
Cause:
The user's database permissions may not allow him or her to change the table design.
NOTE: Also, keep in mind that permissions may be determined by the group the user is in.
Solution:
Ask the database administrator to change permissions, and then try to change the table design again.
1) Ask the database administrator to make sure user or group permissions allow the change of design.
2) After the administrator confirms or changes permissions, change the table design again:
a) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
b) Click the 'Tables' tab in the Database window.

c) Click 'Design'. (The table opens in the Design view.)
d) Make the desired changes.
e) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'.
